Pic of the Week 4/13/01

'This is a photo I took during Celebration 2000 in Juneau.  Celebration is a gathering of natives from all around Alaska, and some from Canada and the lower 48.  It's a time to dance sing and pass on the traditions, and ways of ancestors before.  Pictured in the center is Dr. Walter Soboleff, some what of a Tlingit 'wise man', who passes his knowledge down to all that will listen.  The next Celebration Gathering will be in 2002.  Go check it out,  it's a fun and educational event.'
