pic of the week 12/5/02

"I made this photo while I was in Anchorage a few months ago for the Anchorage Highland Games.  I started playing snare drum for a bagpipe group close to a year ago now.  The name of the group is the Stroller White Pipes and Drums from Juneau.  We went up to compete with other bands from around the state and a few from Canada.  Our band took third in our class and myself and another band member placed in solo competition.  This photo was taken in downtown Anchorage during a massed band march though the streets."
