9/11 Monument

'This was a picture that I made while shooting a ceremony for a monument that was built to commemorated the September 11 disaster.  The monument was erected at Rotary Park in Juneau one year after the tragedy.  The attention of the crowd was on the speeches and songs that were going on.  I was crouched in front and looked over to see this magnificent photo of a Coast Guard member holding the American Flag at attention a bit out of the way.  I zoomed in, took a few shots and 'Whah-La'.  What turned out was one of me favorite shots.'
