Mt. Robert's Cross

pic 'o the week 09/01/2005

'Tim and Julie Campbell of Macomb, IL., stand next to the Mount Roberts cross Friday while taking a respite from their cruise ship in Juneau during a sunny day in August. The Mount Roberts trail was originally blazed by a Catholic Jesuit priest, Father Edward E. Brown, and a group of volunteers in 1908.  A replica of the original cross was erected in the memory of the Father Brown.'
